Description: A Gazetteer reader from California says, “A less obvious place, but where a lot of European-Americans gather, is a restaurant, Tip Top Meats in Carlsbad, CA, which offers generous portions of mostly German food at a reasonable price, and has a European grocery attached to it (a bit pricey, but good selection). I’ve been there a number of times, and each time the vast majority of patrons are EA. And the food is great! My only quibble is that some of the help is Hispanic/Latino. But other than that, it’s great.”
